Abstract
This paper presents an overview of a generic evolutionary design system. The system uses a hybrid 'steady-state' multiobjective genetic algorithm with an explicit mapping stage between genotypes and phenotypes to evolve designs. The system evolves the geometries of a range of solid object designs from scratch. A selection of
evolved designs are presented.
