Fernandez Lopes, R., Glover, Ian, Portela Sousa, M., Arujo Lopes, W.T. and Sampaio de Alencar, M. (2010) A Simulation Framework for Spectrum Sensing. In: The 13th International Symposium on Wireless Personal Multimedia Communications, 11-14th October 2010, Mar Hotel, Recife, Brazil. (Unpublished)

A simulation framework for spectrum sensing, SimulSense, is proposed. SimulSense provides a controlled interference environment in which competing spectrum sensing and reasoning algorithms for cognitive radio systems can be validated and fairly compared. The simulation framework is reconfigurable and expandable. An example of its use is presented.
