Aim - This interactive session aims to explore and challenge some of the prevailing myths and preconceptions
that persist around e-learning and offer examples of innovative practice drawn from across the University.
Participants will be issued with interactive voting pads which they will be asked to use in order to respond to
questions and express opinions.
Objectives - Following the session the participants will be able to:
• have a broader appreciation of how learning technologies can be used to enhance learning and teaching
practices;
• have a greater understanding of the role of Learning Technology Advisers and recognise their potential to
assist in the development of learning technology projects;
• have hands-on experience of using innovative, electronic voting pad technology as a means of actively
participating in a group session.
