Rapid Virtual Manufacturing Environment Construction and Application Knowledge Integration

The work that reported in this paper would provide general description of current virtual reality industrial application problems in terms of environment construction and manufacturing knowledge representation. A novel methodology to solve those problems will be addressed, which differs from other conventional methods in terms of revealing the natural relationships between environment contents or contexts and the application domain knowledge. Finally, a container program developed in this research will be introduced which accommodate all software modules in an integrated structure and used as a run-time platform to testing complete loop of environment based manufacturing simulations.
