Abstract

This presentation announces the launch of the second volume of EP, a series of publications designed by Experimental Jetset that Coles launched in 2013. EP2 is on the subject of design fiction and includes contributions from Umberto Eco, Paola Antonelli and Lucas Maasen.
During the presentation Coles traces his relationship with design: from developing the concept of designart in his 2005 book for Tate Publishing, through the anthology 'Design and Art' for MIT Press in 2007, and on to EP in 2013.
