In schools and universities we have witnessed the development of policies designed to develop and encourage active citizenship. This report outlines the findings from a project on citizenship education that involved undergraduate students and school pupils. The projects aim was to identify ways of developing a citizenship curriculum at undergraduate level. This culminated in the validation and delivery of a module that saw 10 undergraduate students contributing to the citizenship curriculum at two secondary schools in High Wycombe. The students were able to explore sociological dimensions of citizenship education within a practical context. This proved to be an innovative project that offered a very valuable academic and practical experience for the students.
