Scholarly publishing in the library

The University of Huddersfield Press was re-launched in 2010. Over the last 5 years the Press has published 12 monographs (6 on open access), 7 open access journals and a number of CD/DVDs through Huddersfield Contemporary Records. This presentation will look at what we have learned over the past 5 years – some of the pitfalls and successes – and where we hope to go from here. The presentation will also touch briefly on the benefits of possible collaboration between New University Presses.
