Abstract

Trend Forecasting Company Scarlet Opus collaborated with Senior lecturer Joanne Harris Course leader BA(Hons) Surface Design from The University of Huddersfield to set a live design challenge at an international trade show.
The Enterprising idea was to run a live design studio as part of the Trend Hub at the Harrogate Flooring Show 2014. Five Final Year BA (Hons) Surface Design Students were set a specific brief by Scarlet Opus. British Ceramic Tile Company sponsored the Project.
