Tales of the Hasidim

TALES opens a new phase of work in which Jewish songs and stories will become the basis for an embodied, iconoclastic, personal, spiritual, and political engagement with notions of heritage and tradition. This is (not) your grandfather's Judaism. Rather than staging any aspect of Jewish history or identity, the goal is to encounter these performative materials in the present moment, as deeply and honestly as possible.
