Finding excellence in research

Abstract

This talk focuses on two British Council initiatives to promote and disseminate ELT
research. The first is an award for excellence in ELT research. The second is a scheme to
fund research and disseminate the findings of the research projects. The talk concludes
with ideas on how teachers can engage with research and incorporate it into their own
practice.
