This large multi-roomed exhibition was conceived, curated and designed by Pardo using artifacts from the museum’s vast pre-Columbian holdings. By arranging the artifacts within elaborately designed display mechanisms according to a formal logic, Pardo questioned traditional modes of taxonomy and historiography based on geography and chronology.
