In this study the diagnosis of the flow of two centrifugal pumps has been carried out. The efficiencies, which are measured through experimentation, are different for two centrifugal pumps of same type during same flow conditions. By the help of the current transducers (LA-55P), capturing the consumption of current of the induction motor which is the driving unit of the centrifugal pump, and NI PCI 6251 DAQ card and LabVIEW software whole the process has been performed. Experimental data have been recorded and currents are measured for different flow rates of the two centrifugal pumps and processed through LabVIEW software in order to study the correlation between the flow rate and the current spectrums.
