Abstract
Visual tracking consists in finding the position of an object of interest in successive frames of a given video sequence, and it is considered as one of the fundamental topic in computer vision. In this presentation, the focus will be on how the active contour approach could address visual tracking, and in particular on the active contour methods developed by Olszewska, J. I. for this purpose.
