Abstract

While feminist theory has informed the study of leadership from various perspectives, a need still exists for exploring feminist ethics as a conceptual framework for leadership theory. This presentation outlines a study designed to examine the compatibility of the feminist ethic of care with the leadership philosophy of servant-leadership with the purpose of expanding research on servant-leadership grounded in feminist theory, epistemology, and empiricism.
