Three studies for an altered form

With this new release, The Silent Howl wanted to highlight the originality and ingenuity of the work featured on the album Electrofeit (HOWL007) by Fred Thomas. We recruited a group of experimental artists and composers to produce remixes from the original recordings made by the multi-instrumentalist of the Bach organ fugues. The result is both surprising and daring - also, to the best of our knowledge, completely original.

The remix culture invites itself into the classical world and accepts the invitation through the open-mindedness of experimental electronic music. Enjoy!
