Abstract
This item comprises extensive web pages documenting David Milsom’s AHRC Fellowship in the Creative and Performing Arts hosted by the University of Leeds in 2006-9. The project involved investigating, preparing and recording, in experimental historically-informed ways, approximately twenty string chamber works of the ‘classical’ German school, taking direct account of extensive written and recorded evidence in a pioneering act of ‘reconstructive’ performance. The web pages link to recordings, commentaries, and some web articles documenting this extensive project, which provided vital groundwork for the AHRC Research Grant-funded CHASE project at the University of Leeds. (Web pages currently under re-construction – October, 2014).
