Abstract
These papers were presented to the colloquium on 'Victorian Soundscapes', held under the auspices of the Leeds Centre for Victorian Studies and Leeds University Centre for English Music at the University of Leeds and Leeds Trinity and All Saints on 16-17 March 2007. This colloquium was the eighteenth in the series of biannual Victorian Studies colloquia which have been organised by the Centre since 1994.
