Ryan Gander set up an (almost) instant photo studio to make portraits of visitors to the fair looking at an artwork of their choice. The portrait was printed immediately, given to the subjects and a copy hung in an installation along the entrance corridor to the fair. Titled 'We are Constant,' Gander’s project can be understood as an evolving commentary on the consumption of art and the construction of the fair as a spectacle in which the content is removed, Gander produced a portrait of the fair through its population.
Gander had a photographic studio onsite in the entrance corridor of the fair.
