You Are the Journey: Documentary Video

'You Are the Journey: North Staffordshire' presents a consideration of the economy and intimacy within art practice to provoke personal insights, thoughts and ideas while travelling on public transport systems. Through working with text messageing and the latest technology in thermo chromic inks over 700 000 interactive bus tickets were distributed in the North Staffordshire region during winter 2009. 'You Are the Journey: North Staffordshire' is supported by a video documentary created by Behjat Omer Abdulla. The video demonstrates the impact of the project to funders and stakeholders through presenting candid interviews with bus passngers and 'You Are the Journey' tickets being purchased on the First Group of buses leaving the Hanley and Adderley Green Depot, Stoke-on-Trent.
