Abstract

This is an edited transcript of a oral history interview with Margaret Lister, who was the National Coal Board's Coal Queen in 1972. It was undertaken as part of Barber Swindell's artist project Mining Couture, which explores the relationship between coal mining and fashion, commissioned by Leicestershire County Council.
There is an associated book published by Black Dog Publishing (item 13296 in eprints).
