The paper offers insight into the opportunity creation processes of Polish migrant workers in the UK. The paper presents findings of an initial phases of research exploring the experiences of twenty entrepreneurs who had started their own ventures after migration into the UK. Using the notions of network insidership and outsidership as a proxy of relational distanciation and proximation processes, the paper explores how processually, entrepreneurs create opportunities relative to the interplay between home and host country network embeddedness. Findings offer exposition of the resource flows over time in respect of the formation of new ventures and draws conclusions as to the effectuation and bricolage processes within these flows of resources. An account is provided of the resources used in the formation of these ventures and their origins in respect of these three networks types.
