Waste Not: Want Not: Clothes Recycling and Academic Research

A series of workshops exploring recyclng techniques and delivered to members of the general public interested in learning more about the type of research that was carried out in a universoty setting. Workshops asked participants to reflect upopn an item of clothing they had brought in and discuss ways in which it could be customised and made new. Interviews were conducted with participants to capture their thoughts and feelings with the general impression that given an improvement in their making skills they would have more confidence to recycle old pieces of clothing.
