Abstract
Chinese students come to the UK with different expectations and understandings of the processes of teaching and learning. The aim of this project is to explore these differences and investigate the ways that Chinese students make sense of the new environment and the ways they try to adapt to the different education system. The findings will help teachers to reflect on their professional practices of teaching international students.
