Abstract
The purpose of this report is to survey the entire range over which measurements of vibration
parameters can currently be made. Consideration is given in separate sections to special
techniques and to particular work areas. In each case, attention is given to the measurement range
and precision which has been achieved. Each point is supported by citations from the literature
and as a result this document represents a comprehensive key to the state of the art technology in
the field of vibration measurement.
