| Abstract: | Arts Council England has commissioned Axis to curate an exhibition on the first floor of its national office at Great Peter Street in London. Arts Council England staff chose the nine works which we installed in July 2010 for a period of 18 months. Artists were shortlisted from each of the nine Arts Council England regions and Arts Council staff voted on which artist was selected for each region. Spitfire Beach (2010) was selected to represent Yorkshire. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
