Abstract
Plan rationalisation is an ongoing process, driven by a broad range of statutory and other changes that are associated with the modernisation of local government. As part of evaluative work on the impact of local government modernisation, Communities and Local Government commissioned a national process evaluation of plan rationalisation. This report presents a synopsis of the evaluation results produced by the 2004-2007 study.
