    Abstract

    This article is intended to promote awareness of physical exercise as
    a safe, advantageous and feasible intervention for a patient with
    breast cancer or recovering from it. The numerous and varied
    benefits of exercise and the implications for nursing practice in light
    of current research evidence are discussed.
