This session will allow participants to explore the range of options for creating wiki pages within their existing Blackboard modules and to consider uses of wikis within learning and teaching, particularly in respect of group collaboration. Real examples drawn from live modules will be used to illustrate key ideas and concepts
Following the session the participants will be able to:
• Identify opportunities for including wikis within Blackboard learning or training delivery
• Consider the pros and cons of using wikis to encourage group work and collaboration
• Set up and administer Blackboard wiki spaces
