Abstract

This article briefly reports on the views of Ethiopian Higher Education teachers who participated in three Teaching Methodology Workshops which were held in Ethiopia during 1995 and 1996. Key issues relating to the development of higher education provision in Ethiopia are identified. The paper concludes with the suggestion that the best prescriptions for Ethiopian Higher Education are likely to arise from within the country, subject to appropriate exposure to potential models and techniques
