Abstract

This paper studies novel localization methods of
multiple partial discharge sources in electrical substations. The three compressive sensing algorithms of Orthogonal Matching Pursuit (OMP), Homotopy technique, and Dichotomous coordinate descent (DCD) are presented. The simulation results demonstrate excellent performance with the compressive sensing methods.
