The generic aspect of development of multi-axial isotropic creep damage constitutive equations is presented. It contains the two fundamental requirements of consistency, a new formulation, validation and preliminary qualitative validation. The specific material used in this paper is 0.5Cr0.5Mo0.25V ferritic steel at 590degreesC. Some thoughts and discussion are also included
