Abstract

A new angle-resolving photoelectron spectrometer has been developed which uses a fast multianode parallel readout. The detector has been designed for high resolution ultraviolet photoelectron spectroscopy from solid surfaces using synchrotron radiation. Examples of initial results obtained with the detector using a rare gas discharge lamp are presented.
