Abstract
Recent research at the University of Huddersfield has
led to a categorisation of fuel saving interventions
that can be applied in road freight transport. All in
all, there are 12 categories, falling into two broad groups.
The first group, which comprises categories 1 - 7, is based
upon design and build features of a vehicle derived from a
formula reproduced by Bauer (2000).
