Abstract
The article considers the works that Aldo Clementi wrote for ensemble from the 1970s onward and discusses from a general, aesthetic standpoint the reflective aspects of this music and, in particular, its relationship to musical time. The text may be seen as an homage and ends with a brief description of my recent compositional work, serving to illustrate similarities and differences in musical approach to that of Clementi.
