| Abstract: | Sara Mohr-Pietsch presents five new pieces written for the Cultural Olympiad as part of the 20x12 festival celebrating some of the UK's most exciting composing talent. The music by Mark-Anthony Turnage, Aaron Cassidy, Julian Joseph, Gavin Higgins and Liz Liew and Andy Leung was recorded across the UK in Edinburgh, Nottinghamshire and London and is introduced by each of the composers. With performers including the vocal ensemble Exaudi, the Rambert Orchestra and prisoners and staff at HMP Lowdham Grange. | |||||||||
