Nowadays, knowledge map has become a crucial tool, to transfer the knowledge into visual map. Knowledge larger resides with people knowledge, consequently, even though many of studies have presented knowledge in a semantic mode there is still gap need to represent knowledge in difference fields. This knowledge capital should be capture in order to extract the great value form it. This study proposes an approach to create knowledge mapping within virtual communities of practice (VCops)in information science.
