Abstract
Introduction to the CHEAD annual conference proceedings. The theme, New Forces, New Forms, aimed to evaluate the current Government policy deveopments and the impact on the art and design sector. For many years the strength of the UK art and design sector has been the engine of creativity, will this continue in the new funding climates. The conference report highlights key themes, and a record of conference.
