Abstract
This paper presents a reflection of the issues
involved in the planning, supporting and
resourcing of an overseas placement for
mental health nursing students. Importantly, it
includes the experiences of all the
stakeholders involved in the placement
experience. Interesting insights are offered
into the differences between the two health
care contexts. Advice for future overseas
placement planning is also offered.
